Acting Governor Teguh Invites Pramono Anung to Tour the City Hall

Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi, received a visit from the Elected Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, at Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday (2/4).

On that occasion, Teguh also accompanied him around while introducing the City Hall's rooms

"I am grateful and happy to have this visit. We talked lightly about the governor's office like this. He wants to see what the City Hall looks like. We showed the living room, meeting room, Grand Hall, and then this will be your workspace like this," he expressed, as quoted by the Jakarta Government's press release.

He hoped that the visit could provide the former Cabinet Secretary with a general overview of the conditions at the work site.

"Hopefully, he will be more familiar when he comes in here later," he hoped.

In the meantime, the Elected Governor, Pramono Anung uttered he was very grateful for the hospitality and welcome from the Jakarta Government earlier today. He also discussed his duties and work in overseeing Jakarta's progress towards becoming a global city.

"I want to thank Mr. Teguh. Today, I was treated to soto and really delicious food. I also learned a lot; I asked him many questions about tasks and daily work. And of course, matters related to personnel. I really want to get an overview before the inauguration. I want to know the real issues in Jakarta," he explained.

Aside that, he would optimize existing Human Resources (HR) to solve Jakarta's future challenges.

"I do want to make better use of the functional aspects as I believe that the government bureaucracy in Jakarta is one of the successful and strong bureaucracies. That is what I will use to work together to build Jakarta," he asserted.

He also emphasized that his side would use seven special staff to assist the Governor and Vice Governor's work following applicable regulations.

"So, the special staff in Law Number 2/2024 has been regulated. Their main task is to assist the governor and its partner. The individuals are certainly not State Civil Apparatus (ASN), but several professionals, among the seven who are present. I prefer to use professionals," he stated.
