Local citizens are complaining the business of the Concrete Baching Plants/CBP (ready-made cement castings) that located on Jalan Outo Ring Road, RW 06, Duri Kosambi Urban Village, Cengkareng, West Jakarta. They assessed, the business owner is often disposing the waste to water channel and cause pollution.

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, the water channel along Jalan Outo Ring Road from Puri Kembangan towards Cengkareng looks brownish and dense because of cement residual mixed with water. No wonder, it is getting shallow. 

"Due to shallowing, the water in water channel is easily overflowing into our residential," complained one of RW 06 citizens, Sumantri (52), Tuesday (6/2). 

Sumantri suspected such business has no the Waste Management Installation (IPAL), as the waste disposed to the water channel. 

"We want the related unit to immediately check the business's IPAL. We're worried, it would have an negative impact on citizens' health," he explained. 

Cengkareng Sub-District Head, Ali Maulana Hakim explained his party got a report from citizens about the environment pollution. 

"I've reported this matter to West Jakarta  Environmental Management Agency (BPLHD) for questioning the Environmental Impact Analysis of the company (amdal)," he expressed.
