Petukangan River DredgedSuch channel, he disclosed, is very vital, considering water in the channel flowing from Tangerang and empties into Angke River. The dredging itself is targeted to take two weeks and will be dredged to a depth of one meter.
"We do dredging to accommodate water in large quantities thus flooding can be minimized. After being dredged, local residents are required to maintain and sterilize the channel from trashes," he uttered.
Pustaka, (56), a RW 03 resident, positively welcomed the dredging from related unit. Moreover, water in the channel is easily overflowing into his residential.
