Four Parks in South Jakarta Ready to Open 24 Hours

The South Jakarta Parks and City Forest Agency (Tamhut) is preparing Martha Christina Tiahahu Literacy Park, Langsat Park, Ayodya Park, and Tebet Eco Park to be open 24 hours.

South Jakarta Tamhut Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin said the four parks were chosen, because of the adequate facilities.

"The facilities include lighting, toilets, and others," he expressed, Monday (2/10).

Menteng and Lapangan Banteng Parks Will Open 24 Hours

His party had coordinated with all stakeholders in the South Jakarta City administration and environmental administrators to jointly create a conducive park.

"Yesterday we discussed security, traffic, and other matters. We'll involve the Satpol PP, Transportation Agency (Dishub), environmental management, and others," he explained.

He hoped that residents could enjoy the park for positive activities after the park operates 24 hours, starting from sports, arts training, interacting, and others.

"We have the park management to make a schedule of community activities to maximize its utilization," he stated.
