Normalization of Channel on Jalan Haji Kamang Completed

The Cilandak Sub-district Water Resource Executing Unit (SDA), South Jakarta has completed the normalization of the water channel on Jalan Haji Kamang, RT 09/10, Pondok Labu Urban Village.
Hopefully, there will be no more floods
Cilandak Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Yansori said channel normalization is a follow-up to the residents' aspirations to prevent the occurrence of puddles and flooding.
"Previously, the channel system was small and inadequate. It's no wonder that floods often occur during the rain," he expressed, Tuesday (2/11).
Channels on Jalan Brawijaya I Being NormalizedHe explained the 45-meter-long channel normalization was conducted by installing a U-ditch measuring 40x40 centimeters.
"The work started last January 2025 and involved eigth personnel and one excavator," he explained.
He added the top of the channel is currently also covered with concrete, to provide more security for the residents.
The normalization received appreciation from one of the residents, Fauzi (46).
"Thank you for making the channel more organized. Hopefully, there will be no more floods," he stated.
