21 Patients Enjoy Free Health Checks in Tanah Abang

The first day of free health checks at the Tanah Abang Sub-district Health Center, Central Jakarta, Monday (2/10), served 21 residents who had birthdays.

Tanah Abang Sub-district Health Center Head, Ovi Norfiana said 21 patients who came for health checks yesterday consisted of 15 adults, three toddlers, and three elderly people.

"This service provided vary according to age," he expressed, Tuesday (2/11).

Free Health Checks, Residents Can Register via SATUSEHAT Mobile

For adults, the health check services provided included measuring weight and height, blood pressure, waist circumference, blood glucose, and ECG. As for infants and toddlers, there were services for hypothyroidism screening, head circumference and weight measurement, as well as thalassemia screening.

Tanah Abang Sub-district Head, Suprayogi added he was ready to support and socialize the free health checks launched by the central government to improve health levels.

"By accessing this service, we become aware of our medical history. So, if there is emergency, it can be followed up promptly," he stated.
