Fire Burns A House on Jalan Deplu Raya Extinguished

South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency extinguished fire that burned a house on Jalan Deplu Raya, Tanah Ara Block, RT 05/12, Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama Sub-district.

South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Syamsul Huda said the fire that burned a house with 336 square meter width was reported at 11:15 AM.

"Then we directly deployed 17 firetrucks with 60 personnel," he said, Thursday (2/13).

Huda explained the personnel handled the fire well for not burnig the other buildings.

"Personnel localized the fire at 11:35 the continued with the cooling process," he added.

He continued that there was no victim causes by the incident. The fire came from the burned garbage near the house.

"I appeal the residents not to burn the garbage since it is already banned and able to trigger fire," he continued.

Meanwhile, one of local residents, Gantina Raila appreciated the fast response of the personnel to handle the fire.

"Thanks to personnel for preventing fire burning other houses," Gantina stated.
