Council Appreciates Bank DKI Continues to Win Awards

Jakarta City Council Commission B Legislator, Muhammad Taufik Zoelkifli, appreciated Bank DKI for receiving the Indonesia Top Digital Innovation Award 2025 and Indonesia 20 Popular CIO & CTO Awards 2025.

This award was received at the Digital Forum & The Iconomics Awards 6th Anniversary Indonesia Top Digital Innovation Awards 2025.

In the previous year, Bank DKI also received various awards including Top BUMD 2024 with Digital Transformation Initiatives and Banking Accessibility and The 3rd Best Overall BPD in Excellent Service at the 21st Banking Service Excellence 2024 event.

Therefore, he hoped that they could keep developing and maintaining their good reputation for service to the community.

"This means that in relation to excellent service to customers, they (Bank DKI) were once one of the best among regional development banks in Indonesia, so I encourage them to keep maintaining this service and to be worthy of being a bank owned by a global city," he expressed, Tuesday (2/25).

He emphasized the importance of innovation in Bank DKI's credit and financing distribution strategy. He suggested that they emulate the massive and aggressiveness of private banking in maintaining business orientation and professionalism amidst business competition.

"They must seriously undertake innovations because today's global competition demands that we move or be left behind," he explained.

He also reminded of the importance of Bank DKI's role in helping to increase economic growth and community capital, as well as preparing the community to become global city citizens and national economic centers.

Through effective credit distribution and financial management coaching for the community, he believed that capital resilience and the business climate for the community would be increasingly vibrant.

"Including easy business credit for small communities, as the main supporter of Jakarta's economy, which in the end will indirectly increase their welfare," he added.

He asserted synergy between the government, legislature, and Bank DKI in realizing community welfare is very necessary.

The government was expected to maintain the welfare of the community through public services and a conducive business climate. Meanwhile, Bank DKI directly supports the community in driving the people's capital system.

"The legislature maintains regulations and oversees the government's performance in running its duties," he added.

When compared to other banks, especially HIMBARA, he assessed Bank DKI's growth performance was quite expansive in its financing growth.

"So, Bank DKI must be more aggressive and expansive in attracting and serving the community," he said.
