Legal Counseling Provided for Kebon Bawang Residents

Jakarta Ministry of Law Office together with North Jakarta Administration held legal counseling for Kebon Bawang Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district.
The activity included free health check, legal counseling, and free lunch
The activity was held at RPTRA Bawang Putih and attended by 100 participants.
Jakarta Ministry of Law Office Head, Romi Yudianto said the legal counseling was held based on central government's program in giving best service for residents.
"The activity included free health check, legal counseling, and free lunch," he said, Thursday (2/27).
Romi added the activity is not only held in North Jakarta, but also in other areas in Jakarta. It is aimed to improve the law knowledge and awareness of Jakarta residents.
"Hopefully the program can be well-understood by the resident in order to maintain social security," he added.
North Jakarta City Secretary's Assistant of Governmental, Iyan Sopian Hadi appreciated the activity.
According to him, everyone has the right to obtain legal information to develop their personality and social environment.
"Hopefully the program will give benefit and residents are able to spread the knowledge," he said.
Iyan added that North Jakarta Administration supports to give free nutritious food for resident based on President Prabowo Subianto direction.
"We'll support the activity to be held in other urban villages," he added.
Meanwhile, one of the residents living at RT 03/02, Kebon Bawang Urban Village, Sri Rezeki admitted the activity was useful. She attended for the legal counseling, free health check, and free lunch.
"I am glad to attend the activity. The activity also delivered about drugs, domestic violence and so on. I need to spread this knowledge to my neighbor," she admitted.
