South Jakarta Social Sub-agency quickly provided assistance to flood victims in Pejaten Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district, South Jakarta.

South Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Bernard Tambunan mentioned that the assistance was provided in response to requests from urban villages that had listed their needs.

He detailed that the assistance distributed included 40 sacks of 5-kg rice, 10 boxes of 2-liter cooking oil, 45 boxes of instant noodles, 36 bottles of soy sauce, 200 pairs of shoes and socks.
As well as 100 school bags, 100 family kits, 39 kids' ware packages, 34 bales of diapers for children and adults, 35 pcs of sanitary napkins, 10 folding mattresses, 50 blankets, and 50 prayer equipment.
Bernard added that 3,599 ready-to-eat meals and mineral water have also been prepared for flood victims in Pejaten Timur Urban Village.
"We distribute the aid, including food for people to break their fast," he uttered.
According to him, the assistance given to flood victims in South Jakarta is based on proposals from each urban village, mainly consisting of ready-to-eat meals and mineral water.
"We will distribute the aid according to their proposal and data. If they require additional assistance, we will provide it," he stated.
Meanwhile, Pejaten Timur Urban village Head, Rocky A. Tarigan expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders who have helped the flood victims, from evacuation to fulfilling their basic needs.
He explained that aid distribution had been coordinated with RT/RW administrators to ensure it reached the intended recipients.
"Hopefully the inundation will recede quickly. We are still coordinating with all related stakeholders," he explained.
