The activity involving dozens of Jumantik cadres, RT/RW heads, LMK, and Puskesmas was led by Cempaka Putih Sub-district Vice Head, Erik and Rawasari Urban Village Head, Arief Biki.
According to him, those fish seeds were spread to water channels and water storage places that have the potential to trigger the growth of mosquito larvae that spread dengue fever.
10 Cubic Meters of Garbage Cleaned from Ancol Beach"We found several houses and vacant land that have the potential to become breeding grounds for Aedes aegypti mosquitoes," expressed Erik.
To minimize dengue fever cases in his area, the team intensified the PSN schedule from two to three times a week, while also inviting residents to actively clean the environment.
"We work together to clean the environment, to ensure there are no places that could potentially become mosquito nests," he asserted.
Rawasari Urban Village Head, Arief Biki explained the addition of PSN to three times a week was aimed at providing special attention in RT areas where dengue cases were found.
His party would also provide special guidance by giving written warnings to residents whose homes had mosquito larvae.
"This is a shock therapy to make people more concerned about carrying out PSN independently," he concluded.
Previously reported, there were 49 cases of dengue fever in Cempaka Putih from January to February 2025. Of that number, the highest occurred in Rawasari with 26 cases.
