"Through the Tahfidz Disabled Islamic Boarding School, we're committed to providing inclusive and dignified education for individuals with disabilities," he explained.
From such programs, they also have other flagship programs such as Bedah Rumah (House Renovation), Bedah Kawasan (Area Renovation), Semua Bisa Makan (All You Can Eat), Senyum Teluk Jakarta (Jakarta Bay Smile), BKB Matraman (Matraman Family Empowerment), Saudagar Tangguh (Resilient Traders), Tanggap Bencana (Disaster Response), and Masa Depan Jakarta (the Future of Jakarta).
He went on to say that Baznas Bazis Jakarta strives to create an inclusive environment where people with disabilities are not only seen as a group in need of assistance but also as individuals with extraordinary potential.
"They must feel valued, empowered and able to contribute to the development of Jakarta," he continued.
Baznas Bazis Jakarta IV Vice Chair, Mohd Nasir Tajang uttered the Baznas Bazis Jakarta disability empowerment program collaborated with the Jakarta Government and it was hoped that people with disabilities can get a better life.
He assessed this is a form of commitment from Baznas Bazis to build a better, fairer, and more prosperous Jakarta for everyone.
"We're very grateful to collaborate with the Jakarta Government in realizing various programs that benefit people with disabilities. By so, we hope to create more opportunities for them to grow, achieve their dreams, and live more independently," he explained.
He added Baznas Bazis Jakarta also collaborated closely with the Jakarta Government to strengthen programs to empower people with disabilities.
"The Jakarta Government, through various policies and available facilities, fully supports this effort and makes the empowerment of people with disabilities a part of the broader agenda for inclusive development in Jakarta," he closed.
