North Jakarta Mayor Launches Semper and Sukapura Connecting Bridge

North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim launched the construction of Village Connecting Bridge (JAK) that connects RW 04, Semper Barat Urban Village with RW 05, Sukapura Urban Village in Cilincing District.

Previously, the bridge was made of wood

Ali said the bridge that crosses Gubuk River is built along 4.5 meters with 1.5 meters width. The construction was run by North Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency in February to March 2025.

"Previously, the bridge was made of wood. Now the bridge has been revitalized stronger," he said.

He appeals local residents to maintain and take care the bridge for longer use.

"Also please do not spill on the river since it disturbs the water flow," he added.

Meanwhile, Jakarta City Council Legislator, Oman Rohman Rakinda appreciated the North Jakarta Administration for realizing the bridge.

He hopes the bridge provides benefits for local resident's activity.

"We visited the construction last month. Thanks God now completes," he stated.

One of residents living at RT 03/04, Semper Barat Urban Village, Juhairoh (56) admitted happy and thanked the North Jakarta Administration for revitalizing the bridge.

"Now the bridge is more safety, especially for children. The bridge also cuts our time to access the main road," she admitted.
