According to him, the implementation of QRIS Tap NFC in JakOne Mobile is part of Bank DKI's digital transformation to support a more efficient and inclusive payment ecosystem in Jakarta.
Bank DKI keeps innovating in providing digital banking services that facilitate the public as part of its synergy with Bank Indonesia's policies, particularly in supporting the public transportation sector.
"Now public transportation users in Jakarta can use QRIS Tap NFC on the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI app as the main non-cash payment option for various modes of transportation such as MRT and Transjakarta," he expressed, Saturday (3/15).
He explained, this technology aligns with the digitalization efforts undertaken by the Jakarta government to support the smart city concept, allowing people to experience the convenience of faster, safer, and integrated financial transactions within a single application.
Previously, Bank DKI launched various initiatives to expand access to digital payments, particularly in the transportation sector, including the Jakarta Tourist Pass, which is based on the JakCard electronic card and the JakOne Pay application, allowing tourists to enjoy tourism services in Jakarta conveniently and integratively.
Bank DKI is also actively involved in supporting the development of the public transportation ecosystem through synergy among Jakarta's Regional-owned Enterprises (BUMD), namely the naming rights cooperation for the MRT Station at Bundaran HI and the naming rights for the Transjakarta Stop at Senayan, both by Bank DKI.
"This step not only strengthens Bank DKI's branding as a strategic partner for public transportation in Jakarta, but also provides benefits for transportation service users by expanding the digital payment ecosystem," he added.
Bank DKI Secretary, Arie Rinaldi added, with QRIS Tap NFC in the JakOne Mobile app, Bank DKI can keep contributing to improving the efficiency of the national payment system and support Bank Indonesia's efforts in promoting payment digitization.
