"Today, the delivery is heading to Tidung Island, North Seribu Islands. We've already inventoried our food product needs. If there's a shortage, we will add more," he explained.
Economy and Finance Acting Assistant, Suharini Eliawati added various food commodities sent to Seribu Islands were cooking oil, rice, flour, soy sauce, syrup, and sugar.
According to her, this food commodity would be marketed at an affordable Highest Retail Price (HET), to anticipate shortages and price increases in Seribu Islands, especially during extreme weather.
"Jakarta Government keeps striving for food prices in Seribu Islands to be the same as in other regions. At least, the difference with the mainland is not too significant," she stated.
