Saidi, Petukangan Selatan Urban Village, Pesanggrahan Sub-district, Wednesday (3/19).In the simultaneous event which led by Jakarta Vice Governor Rano Karno in a hybrid format, South Jakarta successfully harvested 500 kilograms of agricultural and fishery products.
"Today's harvest was carried out in 58 locations, including Taman Hatinya PKK, RPTRA, Farmer Groups, and urban farmers, both conventional and hydroponic urban farmers supported by the South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency," he explained.
The harvested commodities were included chili, eggplant, cassava, cantaloupe, mangoes, as well as tilapia and catfish.
"These will be managed by the landowners, either to give them to Posyandu, sell them at online marketplaces, or distribute them to SPPG for MBG," he stated.
Meanwhile, South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Hasudungan A. Sidabalok added that next week, a simultaneous shallot harvest will be held in the region.
"As per government's advice, we encourage our citizens to plant in their neighborhoods. When there are price fluctuations, they won't oanic because they will be able to meet their needs independently," he said.
