"Hopefully, this can improve equal access to food at affordable and stable prices, especially as Idulfitri approaches," he hoped.

He admitted the bazaar and affordable market activities during Idulfitri are a program of the Jakarta Government that is conducted routinely every year. These activities are implemented through the Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in Food, which consist of Perumda Pasar Jaya, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, and Perumda Dharma Jaya.

This food distribution cooperation was expected to operate effectively, thus food distribution to Seribu Islands is expected to reach the community evenly.

He added the cheap food bazaar in Seribu Islands was being held on Tidung Island, Pramuka Island, Kelapa Island, Kelapa Dua Island, and Harapan Island. The event has been ongoing since the second week to the fourth week of March 2025.

The cheap food bazaar provided various essential needs such as rice, cooking oil, granulated sugar, various chilies, onions, and other food commodities at more affordable prices.

"This distribution is one of the strategic steps that must continue to be taken as part of the commitment to stabilize prices and ensure the smooth distribution of food," he stated.
