Dinkes Provides Free Health Services for Homecoming Travelers

The Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes), prepared various measures to ensure the health of travelers and public transport crews ahead of and during the mudik flow in 2025.

Medical teams will be on standby at several strategic locations

Jakarta Dinkes Head, Ani Ruspitawati said her party had developed a healthcare service scheme based on the results of coordination meetings with various related parties.

"Like in previous years, we provide free health check-up for travelers and public transport drivers. Medical teams will be on standby at several strategic locations, such as terminals, ports, and stations," she expressed, Tuesday (3/25).

Good News, Free Mudik Program Has Chance to Reopen Tomorrow!

This year's Idulfitri, health service posts would be on standby at seven bus terminals, three train stations, and two docks.

Aside that, the Jakarta Dinkes also collaborated with Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) and Metro Jaya Police to hold free health check-up for public transport drivers to ensure they are in prime condition during their journeys.

"The examination provided includes blood pressure checks, physical condition assessments, eye and ear health checks, and blood sugar level testing. This service is similar to the health examinations commonly offered at community health centers," she explained.

She hoped that the service could support the smoothness and safety of the mudik flow 2025.

"Travelers are urged to take advantage of this health check-up facility to ensure that their journey remains safe and comfortable," she closed.
