Monas Prepares to Greet Visitors This Eid Holiday

The National Monument (Monas) is preparing to welcome visitors during the Eid holiday.
Monas will be closed on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, but will reopen on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
Monas Area Management Unit (UPK) Head, Muhammad Isa Sarnuri, revealed some of the preparations made ahead of the Eid holiday and collective leave period.
In order to anticipate long queues of visitors, Monas management has added ticket counters in collaboration with Bank DKI.

Along with this, Monas has collaborated with Jakarta Health Agency to provide health services and first aid to visitors, ensuring a comfortable experience while visiting Monas.
Isa highlighted that at Monas, visitors can enjoy a variety of services and facilities, such as tourist train, access to the Monas peak, sports area, reflection garden, fountain, restrooms, and shopping and dining options at Lenggang Jakarta IRTI.
During Eid holiday, the entrance fee to Monas remains the same as usual: Rp0 for Monas area, Rp24,000 for adults to access the Monas peak, and Rp6,000 for children.

The Monas area will be open from 6 AM to 10 PM, while the Monas Obelisk will open from 8 AM to 10 PM.
"On April 4, 5, and 6, it will only be open until 6 PM," he added.
During Eid holiday, Monas will feature various attractions and performances, such as art shows, video mapping, light festival on April 4-6, and fountain dance show.
Isa also advised all visitors to follow the rules and regulations set by the management and keep the area clean by disposing of trash in the designated bins.
"Visitors should adhere to the rules set by the officers and keep the area clean by throwing trash in the proper bins," he asserted.
