9,540 People Visit Wayang Museum in Four Days

There were 9,540 visitors visited Wayang Museum, Jalan Pintu Besar Utara, Pinangsia, Tamansari, West Jakarta on Tuesday (4/1) to Friday (4/4).

Jakarta Culture Agency's Art Museum Management Unit Head, Sri Kusumawati, said the visitor increases significantly after the museum was being revitalized and launched on January 24 ago.

"The visitor increases significantly everyday after the Eid," she said, Saturday (4/5).

According to her, there were 1,841 people visited the museum on Tuesday (4/1), then 2,417 people on Wednesday (4/2), 3,203 people on Thursday (4/3), and 2,106 people on Friday (4/4).

"It is predicted that more visitors to come today and tomorrow," she added.

Sri continued that Immersive Room 360 about the puppetry world, and a collection of 6,800 puppets and dolls from all over Indonesia attract the visitors much.

"We are open from Tuesday to Sunday at 9 AM to 3 PM," she continued.

One of the visitors from Bekasi, Aris Munandar (35), admitted he came to to museum to acknowledge history, art, and culture to his child.

"It's great to learn culture here. Ticket price for children is also affordable by Rp 5,000 only," he admitted.
