1,036 Animals in Central Jakarta Vaccinated Against Rabies

From January to early April 2025, the Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Agency (KPKP) has vaccinated 1,036 pets.

This vaccination is being intensified in eight sub-districts

Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Penty Yunesi Pudyastuti explained, 1,036 vaccinated pets were 877 cats, 151 dogs, and four each of monkeys and civets.

"This vaccination is being intensified in eight sub-districts," she concluded, Wednesday (4/9).

Jakarta Achieves MURI Record for Most Cat Sterilizations

Until December 2025, her agency targeted 5,851 pets to be vaccinated against rabies.

"After the Idulfitri holiday, we will resume services in Paseban Urban Village on April 16," she stated.
