Anti-Rabies Vaccines Given to 214 Pets in Bukit Duri Urban Village

South Jakarta Food Security, Marine, and Agriculture (KPKP) Sub-agency gave anti-rabies vaccines for 214 pets in Bukit Duri Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district.

The service was free of charge

Tebet Sub-district's KPKP Implementer Unit Head, Hairul Ihsan said the pets were vaccinated during the mobile service at Bukit Duri Urban Village office on February 11, 2025, RW 07 Secretariat Office on February 12, and RW 06 Secretariat Office on February 13.

"All vaccinated pets have met the requirements such as Jakarta ID card, four months old minimally, in good health, and is not pregnant or breastfeeding," he said, Friday (2/14).

He added that those 214 pets are 210 cats, three dogs and one monkey.

"The service was free of charge. We cooperated with Mon's Pet for the service," he added.

He appealed local residents, especially in South Jakarta, to bring their pets to vaccination location based on the schedule.

"The information can be accessed through South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Instagram account. Hopefully the program will be able to maintain Jakarta status as free rabies city," he continued.

Meanwhile, Bukit Duri Urban Village Head, Atiaturrahma, appreciated the sub-agency for providing the service in the area.

"I also appreciate the pets owners for caring their animals much," she stated.
