BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2025, Be There!

Jakarta Provincial Government together with PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) launched BTN Jakarta International Marathon (JAKIM) 2025 at City Hall, Monday (4/14).

The event that will be held on June 29 is participated by 30,000 runners where 600 of them are international runners from 51 countries.

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung said Jakarta Provincial Government is fully support the event. He has instructed related agencies including Transportation and Tourism.

"I instruct Transportation and Tourism Agencies to manage the event well," he said.

Jakarta has the potential as world sport destination. It can be shown from the number of participants. Pramono emphasized the important of providing detail things such as water and supplement for the runners.

"I remind the organizer to improve if there is something needs to be improved," he added.

Pramono believes that the thousands of participant will give positive impact for MSMEs in Jakarta. He hopes the event can be held routinely.

"I request tor Nixon in BTN hopefully we are not only providing international marathon event, but to be one of world marathon major," he continued.

Moreover, Jakarta will also hold various international events. Therefore, Pramono hopes that all parties will maintain high public participation by providing support and creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere for all participants and spectators.

Meanwhile, PT BTN President Director, Nixon LP Napitupulu said in addition to sports events, BTN is also committed to participate in social activities through CSR programs by providing support to sports actors, improving sports facilities and infrastructure, and carrying out greening in Jakarta. He hopes that these efforts can encourage a healthy lifestyle for Jakarta residents.

"Hooefully this will create a healthier Jakarta residents," he said.

Race Director IM Road Runner, Satrio Guardian explained JAKIM 2025 implementation is collaborate with Regional Working Units, Mayors, and residents.

"No event can be held successfully without the support from residents," he explained.

Satrio said that this year the JAKIM 2025 route has undergone slight changes considering the safety and comfort of the participants. The event will be start at Silang Barat Laut Monas and end at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.

"We try to avoid the unwanted things. So here is the new route," he stated.
