South Jakarta Government together with related Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) will provide skill training for newcomers thus they can be employed or have their own business.
"I have instructed South Jakarta Nakertransgi Sub-agency to provide skill training and activate regular training through Mobile Training Unit (MTU). There are 9 MTUs so, it must be utilized optimally," he explained.
According to him, OPDs in charge of Jakpreneur have also asked to intensify job trainings, especially for newcomers who have orderly register for Adminduk.
"Job Fair will be also intensified through collaboration with related parties," he added.
On the other hand, South Jakarta Population and Civil Administration Sub-agency Head, Muhammad Nurrahman added, hundreds of newcomers have verified their data at South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Sub-agency.
"So far, 148 newcomers have reported themselves, consisting of 78 men and 70 women," he informed.
He noted that regarding income assumptions based on job types, 63.51% earn low incomes, while 36.49% earn moderate to high incomes. Additionally, 31 individuals are children, 119 are adults, and four are elderly.
"To facilitate newcomers in complying with Adminduk regulations, we are also providing mobile services across all sub-districts in South Jakarta," he stated.
