Pramono expressed the Jakarta Government is offering a free fare public transportation services, such as Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta, specifically for women on this year's Kartini Day celebration.

Aside that, they also want to ensure that the free fare policy is implemented effectively. They also had a dialogue with several passengers.

"We've checked several passengers from Bekasi and Depok, and indeed the ones from Bekasi and Depok are not free yet. Alhamdulillah, (thank God), everything is free already," he explained.

He added the Jakarta Government was designing a policy for free public transportation fares during other national holidays. This aimed to encourage the public to choose public transportation more and to parse congestion in the capital.

"Because this is the initial spirit of better public transportation management that we will implement. So, it won't only be for Kartini Day; we might have other events in the future," he said.
