East Jakartans, Don't Miss Out on Free Processed Seafood Training!

East Jakarta Food Security, Marine, and Agriculture (KPKP) Sub-agency has opened registration for the Processed Seafood Products Training on April 24-27, 2025.

East Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Taufik Yulianto, mentioned that the announcement of qualified participants will be made on May 2, with a quota of 100 participants.

"Training will take place on May 6 and 7 at TC Pertanian, Klender, from 8 AM to 2 PM," he informed, Friday (4/25).

Taufik explained, East Jakarta residents who are interested to join can register at the link bit.ly/pesertaolahanperikanan.

"Register now, as the quota is limited. Don't miss this opportunity because the training is free. Further information about the training can be accessed via Instagram @sudinkpkp.jaktim," he added.

According to him, participants will receive theoretical and practical lessons to make various dishes, such as dim sum, bitterballen, and fish samosas.

"Besides, participants will be taught about food photography and proper, competitive, processing techniques. The training will be conducted by competent instructors," he mentioned.

This training, he mentioned, may serve as a useful starting point for anyone aiming to enter the culinary business, especially in processed fish products.

"This training can be an excellent opportunity and a good starting point for generating income. Thus, it can help East Jakarta residents to be more prosperous and reduce unemployment,"
