He added the channel itself has narrowed and become shallow due to sediment buildup of up to one meter.
After being transported, the mud will first be taken to the Oil Marsh Warehouse before being taken to the disposal site in Ancol, North Jakarta.
"Dredging has been ongoing since April 25 and is targeted for completion on June 15," he concluded.
Hopefully, it could anticipate flooding maximally.
