Jakarta Fully Supports Digiland 2025 Running Event

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, fully supports the organization of the Digiland 2025 running event. Digiland serves as a promotional platform for Jakarta to introduce itself as an international sports destination.

"I am happy because this is a great opportunity for Jakarta to promote itself as a new destination for sports, not just locally but also internationally," he expressed, at Plataran Menteng Restaurant, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (5/5).

As a form of serious support, he revealed the presence of several representatives from the city hall who have been specifically assigned to provide maximum support. He believes that this event will have a positive impact on Jakarta, especially economically.

"Just close it if the road needs to be turned into a running track. If you need something, please feel free," he explained.

According to him, Digiland has the advantage of not only presenting running activities but also being enlivened with various events such as music and involving small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Their participation is able to boost economic growth in Jakarta.

He hoped that it could become a regular event in Jakarta as it can make a significant contribution to promoting tourism. The Jakarta Government was committed to providing full support for various marathon activities in the capital.

"We will fully support and there will be many marathon activities in Jakarta," he added.

Just so you know, the Digiland 2025 event on May 18, 2025, will feature various activities such as Digiland Music, Nusantara Culinary, and SME Market. This event, targeting 12,500 runners, will be held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta. There are three categories: 21K (Half Marathon), 10K, and 5K.
