New PPAPP Head Iin Mutmainah Unveils Her Priority Programs

After being inaugurated as Head of the Jakarta Empowerment, Child Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Agency, Iin Mutmainnah delivered several focused work programs that will be carried out.

One of her top priorities is to reduce the rates of violence against women and children in Jakarta. Iin plans to implement interventions through coordination and synergy.

Iin pointed out that Friends of Women and Children Post (Pos Sapa) located in every Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRAs) will serve as entry points for complaints and mapping violence cases.

Additionally, she highlighted the importance of women's empowerment through PKK movement with 10 core programs, as well as strengthening dasawisma data and population control through collaboration with the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN).

"Women's empowerment through strengthening the role of PKK movement with its 10 core programs has directly impacted community life. Accurate and integrated dasawisma data collection is also a focus," she expressed, Thursday (5/8).

She also mentioned other important program, namely population control, which will be carried out through close cooperation with BKKBN.

She stated that she would first undertake internal mapping and engage in team before launching flagship programs. These measures, she noted, are part of Jakarta PPAPP Agency's strategy to strengthen the protection and empowerment of vulnerable groups and enhance family resilience in Jakarta.

"We will start from listening the team, then formulate the flagship programs. Obviously, we will also carry out the Governor's quick wins, especially that related to prevention of violence against women and children," she emphasized.
