Mud Spill on Jalan Raya Bekasi Has Been Cleaned Up

The mud scattered on Jalan Raya Bekasi, Jatinegara Kaum Urban Village, Pulo Gadung Sub-district was cleaned up by personnel from the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency (Gulkarmat) assisted by PPSU.

The handling started at 11 PM and finished at 00:15 AM,

East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head, Muchtar Zakaria stated mud approximately 50 meters long was seen scattered last night around 10:44 PM.

"This is allegedly caused by a truck carrying mud from the pipeline project experiencing a rupture in the valve or mud discharge valve," he expressed, Tuesday (5/13).

To handle it, one unit of a fire engine with 2,500 liters capacity along with its five personnel deployed to the location.

"The handling started at 11 PM and finished at 00:15 AM," he explained

The action above received appreciation from one of the locals, Raden (51).

"The road is clean now. So, road users can feel safer and more comfortable when passing through," he said.
