Brawl Prevention, City Forms Anti-Brawl Committee with Metro Jaya Police

To prevent brawl action occurs in capital, Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) will cooperate with Metro Jaya Police to form Anti Brawl Committee.

The committee should be created because it is in accordance with Presidential Instruction

This policy is also in accordance with Presidential Instruction No. 2 of 2013 on Troubleshooting Homeland Security.

"We will discuss about it with Metro Jaya Police later. The committee should be created because it is in accordance with Presidential Instruction," told Basuki in City Hall, Thursday (6/25).

Basuki added, the Anti-Brawl Committee that has been formed will be valid forever. It means, the committee will keep running the tasks and functions even though there is a leadership change.

"The committee will be valid forever. That is what Jakarta Provincial Government and Metro Jaya police will try to realize," he told.

Besides that, Ahok also prepared severe sanctions for the students who involved in brawl. They will be expelled from school even removed from Jakarta if they still stubborn.

"I've told all school in Jakarta to exclude students who involved in brawl because there is no benefit for all party," he uttered.
