Channel on Jalan Plitur 2 Kayu Putih Being Dredged

The water channel located on Jalan Plitur 2, RT 03/17, Kayu Putih Urban Village is seen being dredged from mud.

This is targeted to be completed in early July

Pulo Gadung Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Didi Rusdiana said, nine personnel were involved in dredging a 100-meter-long channel.

"The mud in the channel has touched 25 centimeters, triggering sedimentation," he expressed, Monday (6/16).

He explained it has been ongoing since early June 2025 and the progress has touched 50 percent.

"This is targeted to be completed in early July," he explained.

Hopefully, it could effectively prevent flooding corresponds with the increasing capacity.

"I urge residents to work together to maintain the cleanliness of the channel," he stressed.

The work received appreciation from one of the locals, Cahyo (41).

"Hopefully, it can be finished quickly and function optimally during the rainy season," he hoped.
