Pimpinan DPRD DKI Gelar Rapimgab RPJMD

Jakarta DPRD Leaders Hold Rapimgab on RPJMD Finalization

Jakarta Council (DPRD) leaders held a joint leadership meeting (Rapimgab) to discuss the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) on the Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) for 2025–2029.

"...so that the process runs smoothly,"

Jakarta DPRD's Regional Regulation Formation Body (Bapemperda) Chairman, Abdul Aziz, explained that Rapimgab was held to gather input from council leaders. During the meeting, Bapemperda also presented several proposed changes to the RPJMD articles.

"It turns out there are still many notes and suggestions from the leadership regarding RPJMD," he stated, on Monday (6/16).

He added that RPJMD draft document will be brought from Council's plenary session next week before being submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs for harmonization.

"We are seeking support and prayers from all stakeholders and residents so that the process runs smoothly. Hopefully, the Governor will soon have finalized development blueprint for the next five years," he said.

He revealed that DPRD leaders also pushed for the RPJMD to feature programs that benefit the public, particularly in the education sector.

According to him, these programs can later be reflected in the strategic plans (Renstra) of each agency within the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"RPJMD can't contain overly technical policies. That's why we have Renstra, RKPD, and other programs in each agencies. So, we need to be selective in deciding what to include in the RPJMD," he asserted.
