Rano Responds to Legislative General Views on 2024 P2APBD

Jakarta Vice Governor, Rano Karno conveyed the explanation of the Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung regarding the general views of the factions on the Draft Regional Regulation on Accountability for the Implementation of the 2024 Jakarta Provincial Revenue and Expenditure Budget (P2APBD).

"Together with the executive team, I would like to express my gratitude for the appreciation, attention, questions and constructive suggestions submitted by the factions in the City Council regarding the material of the Draft Regional Regulation on the P2APBD of Jakarta Province for the 2024 Fiscal Year," he said.

According to Rano, the various suggestions, questions and general views of the factions are a manifestation of a joint commitment to increase transparency and accountability in regional financial management.

"As part of the executive, we will try to answer comprehensively," he added.

Rano continued Commission Working Meeting will be held for a more detailed discussion for the depth and variety of issues raised.

Various suggestions, input and questions submitted by various factions of the Jakarta City Council are those related to BUMD performance, optimization of regional income, arrangement of slum RWs, improvement of welfare, social assistance, handling of traffic jams and handling of floods.

There are also issues related to bureaucratic performance, information systems, follow-up to BPK findings, increasing accountability in regional financial management, stunting and waste management.

The factions in the City Council also appreciated the performance of the executive who succeeded in obtaining an unqualified opinion (WTP) from the Indonesian Audit Board (BPK) for the Jakarta Provincial Government's LKP for the 2024 Fiscal Year.

"This achievement is a manifestation of our commitment to continue to maintain and improve accountability in regional financial management," Rano stated.

Meanwhile, Jakarta City Council Vice Chairwoman, Rani Mauliani, explained this plenary meeting results will be followed up by meetings at the commission level with related agencies.

"We will immediately schedule the commission meeting," she stated.
