Jakarta Improves JakLingko Services with New Fleets and Law-Abiding Drivers

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung responded to public complaints regarding long wait times for Jaklingko services and reckless driver behavior.

" We have started adding more units,"

He emphasized that the Jakarta Provincial Government has added that the number of Jaklingko fleets to shorten wait times.

"Regarding Jaklingko, the complaint was about having to wait too long. We have started adding more units, so now the wait time is not as long as before," he conveyed at Jakarta Council (DPRD) Building, on Wednesday (6/18).

This effort is expected to improve mobility for Jakartans who rely on Jaklingko as their daily mode of transportation.

Furthermore, Pramono didn't deny reports about reckless behavior by Jaklingko drivers. He stressed the need to regulate the drivers to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers and other road users.

"About the reckless driving, I have also received reports. Of course, those who drive recklessly must be disciplined," he asserted.

By adding new fleets and improving driver discipline, Jaklingko is expected to become safer, more comfortable, and more efficient for all Jakarta residents.
