Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung announced that the Jakarta Provincial Government has provided fiscal incentives in the form of tax reductions for hotel and restaurant sector.

"This policy is now in effect,"

"This policy is now in effect. When I made the decision yesterday, the governor regulation (Pergub) has already been prepared, along with the figures I mentioned previously," said Pramobo at RW 09 Community Hall, Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, on Friday (6/20).

For information, the Jakarta Provincial Government is offering fiscal incentives by reducing the tax burden on the hotel industry. This policy will be implemented in two stages.

Jakarta Economy Grows, Household Consumption and Government Incentives Support

In the first stage, hotels will receive a 50 percent off for the first two months. In the following months, a 20 percent reduction will be applied.

"The Jakarta Government will provide fiscal incentives in the form of reduced tax burdens for hotel industry sector, with 50 percent for the first two months, followed by 20 percent for the next two months," he explained.

He hopes this policy will encourage people and business owners to be more enthusiastic in fulfilling their tax obligations.

"Why we are giving this? Because we want to encourage people to pay their taxes more eagerly," he added.

Besides incentives for hotels and restaurants, the city is also offering a tax amnesty for residents with outstanding tax obligations.

This amnesty program is valid from June 14 to August 31, 2025, and serves as part of the celebration of Indonesia's Independence Day.

"This is our gift for Jakarta residents," he conveyed.
