Bank Indonesia (BI) opens a small change exchange service in Lenggang Jakarta Field, Monas, Central Jakarta. It aims to simplify citizens getting small change for Idul Fitri.

The service opens for full month starting on June 17 to July 15, 2015, at 9 AM-1 PM. 

"The service is purposed to simplify citizens to get small change for Idul Fitri," said Assistant Director of Money Distribution Department for Bank Indonesia, Teuku Faisal, at Lenggang Jakarta field, Friday (6/26). 

Faisal stated the service is conducted routinely every year ahead of Ramadhan and Idul Fitri. This year, it is the seventh. 

He explained, citizens can change maximal Rp 3.7 million for once exchange by composition nominal Rp 20,000 amounted Rp 2 million, Rp 10,000 amounted to Rp 1 million, Rp 5,000 amounted to Rp 500,000, and Rp 2,000 amounted to Rp 200,000.

"Citizens can re-queue for changing and it is not limited as money provided is sufficient to fulfill citizens necessity," he disclosed.
