Top Musicians to Enliven Jakarta's 498th Anniversary Grand Event at Lapangan Banteng

Jakarta Provincial Government through Tourism and Creative Economy Agency is about to present Jakarta's 498th Anniversary Grand Event on June 22, 2025 at Lapangan Banteng Park, Central Jakarta.

The event will start at 4 PM until finish and it is free for public.

Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Head, Andhika Permata, said the event is designed to be lively, inclusive, and provide a variety of entertainment for all residents.

"We want to celebrate Jakarta's anniversary as a global city while still prioritizing the richness of local culture. There will be a cultural parade, theater performances, traditional Betawi dances, and entertainment stages involving many top musicians," he said, Friday (6/20).

Top musicians to enliven the event are Diskoria, JKT48, Juicy Luicy, Wali, Andien, Adikara, Sandy Sandoro, Mirabeth Sonia, Olivia Pardede, and Keroncong Toegoe.

The event will be more lively with performances of Alpa Plus Dancer, Oni & Friends guided by hosts Oki Lukman and Ruben Onsu.

Andhika invited Jakarta residents to attend and enliven the grand event of the Jakarta's 498th Anniversary. He hopes that the grand event of Jakarta's Anniversary will be a moment of togetherness and pride for residents towards a city that continues to grow into a global city that remains firmly rooted in its cultural values.

"Let's celebrate Jakarta with joy, while enjoying entertaining cultural and musical performances," he stated.
