Tidal Flood on Jalan Lodan Raya Has Completely Receded

The tidal flood or called Rob that hit Jalan Lodan Raya, RW 08, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district, North Jakarta, has completely receded since Tuesday (6/24) early morning.

The situation improved again at 1 AM

Pademangan Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Dewiarlina said, the water flooded Jalan Lodan Raya starting from inside IPC Port of Sunda Kelapa when the sea level reached 260 meters or exceeded the port's dike limit.

"There is currently a embankment construction by IPC. We're only handling the area of the road or outside the port area according to our authority," she expressed, Tuesday (6/24).

Construction of Flood Mitigation Embankment in Muara Angke Begins

She explained that the flood has been happening since last Monday around 9 PM with 5 to 10 centimeters high.

"We sent six personnel to the location, including a mobile pump. The situation improved again at 1 AM," she explained.

Ancol Urban Village Head, Bijakri Saud Maruli Manik expressed his appreciation on personnel who quickly respond to floods in their area.

"This morning, we also deployed the orange team to clean up the remaining dirt from the flood. Currently, residents can go back to their usual activities," he stated.
