Mayor Arifin Calls on All Elements to Preserve Diversity

Central Jakarta Mayor, Arifin, invites all elements of society to nurture progress and harmony to create a harmonious life.

This harmony becomes our very important social capital

"Because there are so many ethnic groups in Jakarta, I ask that diversity and pluralism must continue to be maintained," he expressed.

In an era of globalization with many challenges and opportunities, it is necessary to build harmony and maintain good relations among people.

"This forum serves as a platform for discussing matters related to harmony, including strategies for fostering better interfaith harmony within the community," he explained.

He added that Central Jakarta, besides being the capital's center, has a multicultural and multi-religious community amidst the glitter of skyscrapers.

"This harmony becomes our very important social capital. By living in harmony, of course, we can do various beneficial activities for the community, and development can also proceed smoothly," he stated.
