Kebayoran Baru District's Water Resource Unit Head, Sutopo said water channel construction aims to anticipate inundation during rainy season in the area.

"Hopefully this channel will be able to flow the water smoothly," he added.
Meanwhile, one of the residents, Leo (53) appreciated the project. Le stated that the local residents will be safer since the channel is completed with cover.
"It's the right way to anticipate inundation," he admitted.
