Around 12 damaged sheet piles in East Jakarta begin to be repaired. Most damage caused by landslides or even prone to landslides after rain hit the city a couple months ago.

This year, as much as 12 damaged sheet piles should be repaired

In order to prevent another landslides, the sheet piles that built up to 1.7 meters long has been completed with castings concrete at the bottom.

Head Section of East Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Mukhid acknowledged from 12 damaged sheet piles, one of them located in front of SDN Pondok Kopi 04, Jalan Robusta Raya, Pondok, Kopi, Duren Sawit, must be repaired immediately. Moreover, the students will soon facing new school period. If it is not repaired, it will endanger local residents and students.

“This year, as much as 12 damaged sheet piles should be repaired, especially in densely populated areas or near school area,” he uttered, Wednesday (7/1).

Those 12 damaged sheet piles are located on Jabaludin connecting channel's sheet pile, Jalan Rukun Cilangkap, Jalan Marih RW 02 Munjul Urban Village, Munjul Public Cemetery, Lapangan Tembak Cibubur, Jalan PKP on the north side, Ciracas, Kelapadua Wetan precisely in front of Wika, Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai on the south side, in front of SDN Pondok Kopi 04 Pagi and connecting channel’s sheet pile on Jalan Batu Ampar 3.
