Jakarta Transportation Agency applies the traffic engineering on Jalan Otto Iskandardinata (Otista), East Jakarta. It aims to smooth the pedestrian bridge revitalization work.

Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo, said the Transjakarta Gelanggang Remaja Shelter's pedestrian bridge revitalization will run up to December 15, 2025.
He said that traffic engineering on Jalan Otto Iskandardinata is implemented according to the work stages to support the pedestrian bridge revitalization process.
Pedestrian Bridges Repair in East Jakarta to Complete Next Month"The pedestrian is about to use zebra cross that is completed with traffic sign lamp/pelican crossing," he said, Monday (8/11).
Traffic engineering that is about to run according to the work stages is explained below;
a) West side ramp work;
- Implementation period: July 20-December 15, 2025;
- Shoring installation in sidewalk areas does not use the road body;
- Traffic from Kampung Melayu to Cawang and vice versa is normal according to existing conditions.
b) East side ramp work;
- Implementation period: August 10-December 15, 2025;
- Installation of Shoring on the East side of the Transjakarta route, so that Transjakarta from Kampung Melayu to Cawang has mixed traffic throughout the work area (September 6-26, 2025);
- Traffic from Cawang towards Kampung Melayu is normal according to existing conditions.
c) Pedestrian bridge girder work;
- Implementation period: October 4 - November 21, 2025;
- Traffic from Kampung Melayu towards Cawang and vice versa is normal according to existing conditions;
"Road users are advised to avoid these road sections and to adjust to the established traffic arrangements, obey traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field and prioritize road safety," he appealed.
