101 Joint Personnel Deployed for Cleanup on Jalan DI Panjaitan

Ahead of the 80th anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day, a total of 101 joint personnel were deployed for a cleanup operation along slow lane of Jalan DI Panjaitan, Cipinang Cempedak Urban Village, Jatinegara Sub-district, East Jakarta.

"One fire truck was also deployed to help clean up dirt and waste along the road,"

Jatinegara Sub-district Acting Head, Bambang Pangestu, said the cleanup was carried out along 500 meters from in front of Ministry of Religious Affairs Office to Jatinegara Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sector Office.

"One fire truck was also deployed to help clean up dirt and waste along the road," he added, Friday (8/15).

According to him, the joint personnel involved in the operation included representatives from the urban villages and sub-districts and personnel from PPSU, Fire and Rescue, Water Resources (SDA), Public Works, Environment, and Urban Park and Forestry Sub-agencies.

"Three trucks were also deployed to transport the waste and debris from the location," he mentioned.

He hoped that the cleanup would improve the city's aesthetics and provide a greater sense of safety and comfort for road users.

"Let's work together to make East Jakarta a clean, beautiful, and well-organized city," he expressed.
