No money, no place to stay, if you want to be a maid, I got it

"I always tell that you may come even bring your relatives, as long as you got the money. No money, no place to stay, if you want to be a maid, I got it," said Ahok, at City Hall, Friday (7/3).

Ahok claimed needs of maid is quite high. Even, some of maids often asked to bring their relatives after Eid ul Fitr. "Since I was a bachelor, I've always heard the maid requested by neighbor. If you come again, please bring your relatives to work," he expressed.

Former Regent of East Belitung added maid personnel in Jakarta is always absorbed. By the reason, he allows people bring their relatives to come to Jakarta if they have ability and intention to work.

Besides maid, it also applies to tourists. Even if they want to buy a house or an apartment, they will be given ID Card indeed. As they can contribute tax in Jakarta, including income tax.

"If you're a tourist, wanting to buy a house or an apartment here, go ahead. I'll give you ID Card instead thus the income tax they pay to the government is 20 percent for Jakartans. As long as people want to move, they got the money and have a job, I can provide ID Card," he disclosed.

Those who are not allowed to come, he continued, are citizens who have no settlement and skills. As it is worried they would settle the state property land, such as on water channels, riverbanks, and also green open spaces (RTH). "They can't visit to Indonesia if they settle at the edge of river, even rob," he asserted.
