Jakarta Implements Remote Learning Policy for Schools Near Protest Sites

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Rano Karno, emphasized that the Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) has set a remote learning policy for schools located near protest sites.

Hopefully, by Wednesday it will be normal again

Additionally, the policy can also be implemented at schools affected by access issues due to protests.

"We give directions to the Disdik. So, schools that are in potentially vulnerable locations can implement remote learning," he expressed, Monday (9/1).

Disdik Continues to Implement Learning Process

He explained that schools located far from protest actions and with unobstructed access are permitted to implement face-to-face or remote learning after coordinating with the school committee.

He hoped the situation could return to normal and teaching and learning at school could resume normally.

"Hopefully, by Wednesday it will be normal again," he hoped.
