Workplaces Urged to Implement WFH as Protest Action

The Jakarta Agency of Manpower and Transmigration (Disnakertransgi) has issued a circular letter with number 0014/SE/2025 on a work-from-home (WFH) advisory to all companies in Jakarta since last Friday (8/29).

Carrying out work from home for companies or workplaces 

The circular letter was decided in consideration of the activity of expressing opinions in the form of protests conducted in various areas of Jakarta.

Jakarta Disnakertansgi Head, Syarifudin explained, this circular letter is issued considering various aspects, especially for companies affected by protest action.

Disdik Continues to Implement Learning Process

"Carrying out work from home for companies or workplaces affected by protests," he expressed, Monday (9/1).

He emphasized that companies or workplaces where the nature and type of work are conducted continuously for 24 hours or that provide direct services to the public can implement a combination of work schedules.

"Companies like this can implement a combination of working from home or working from the office," he explained.

He also hopes that business actors and companies will report the appeal to their staff. The report can be sent via the link https://bit.ly/LaporanWFH-Aksi.

"Hopefully, the letter can serve as a concern. We thank all parties for their cooperation," he said.
