Joint Personnel Ensure Conducive Conditions in South Jakarta

As many as 310 joint personnel conducted a large-scale patrol in South Jakarta to ensure public security and order were maintained.

South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Senior Commissioner Nicolas Ary Lilipaly said the purpose of large-scale patrols in every district is to eliminate anxiety and restore a sense of security for the community.

"We conducted patrol from last night until early this morning to ensure a conducive atmosphere," he said, Wednesday (9/3).

He hopes that patrols involving all four pillars can build public trust in the security guarantees provided by the government.

"We will continue to maintain this conducive atmosphere for the sake of mutual comfort," he added.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar stated the government's role in making the area safe and conducive is seen with this patrol.

"As a nation, we are here to ensure that South Jakarta is safe and conducive," he stated.

Anwar added the patrol involved four pillars, army, police, city government, and community.

As for information, the large-scale patrol was held on Jalan Pangeran Antasari, Jalan TB Simatupang, Jalan Raya Ragunan, Mochamad Kahfi, Jagakarsa Sector Police, Lenteng Agung, and Pasar Minggu Sector Police. Then the personnel went to Setiabudi, Mampang Sector Police and returned to South Jakarta Metro Police.
