Pramono: Pancasila Becomes a Fortress to Face the Nation's Challenges

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung served as the Ceremony Inspector in commemoration of the Pancasila Sanctity Day 2025 at the Jakarta City Hall yard, Wednesday (1/10).

This momentum serves as a reminder to reaffirm our nation's commitment

This ceremony is an important moment for the Jakarta Government to reaffirm the nation's commitment to the Pancasila ideology and to maintain unity and integrity.

"Today, we attended the Pancasila Sanctity Day commemoration event which falls on October 1, 2025," he expressed.

Pramono delivered the Pancasila Sanctity Day commemoration event as a reminder to make Pancasila a fortress in facing various issues and challenges of the nation ahead.

"This momentum serves as a reminder to reaffirm our nation's commitment to ideology and to maintain national unity, as well as a fortress to face various issues and challenges ahead," he explained.

On that occasion, he conveyed a message to the youth regarding their role in facing the challenges of the era. He acknowledged that each generation of youth faces different challenges.

"So, every young person faces different challenges of their era. Now, the challenges are very different," he explained.

As a nation that is building and aims to progress, young people have a significant role in realizing Jakarta's vision of becoming a global, inclusive, culturally rich city, as well as improving Jakarta's ranking on the global stage.

He conveyed that the active role of youth is the key to achieving progress in the capital city.

"The main challenge is how young people have high dreams to advance this nation, especially for Jakarta, which is to make Jakarta a global, inclusive, and cultural city, with its ranking always improving, no longer at 74, hopefully below 50 in the near future," he closed.
