City Holding Sudden Inspection of Parcel in Trade Center

Ahead of Eid-ul Fitr, many parcel vendors start selling their products. To be wary of products that violate the rules, today the Jakarta Small Medium Cooperatives Enterprises Department (KUMKMP) is holding a sudden inspection simultaneously in five areas.

For Central Jakarta, the inspection was held in Jaya Senen Market and Carrefour Ahmad Yani. Based on beritajakarta.com observation, various products ready to sell are being checked by officer. It aims to see the trade license and the expiry date.

"We're holding the inspection especially the package of parcel to ensure no unlicensed and expired merchandise sold," said Head of Controlling Supervision and Consumer Protection for Jakarta KUMKMP Department, Robinhot Sinaga, Tuesday (7/7).

No Parcel For Officials and Civil Servants, Ahok Says

During the inspection, according to him there are food products found that its trade license has been out. One of them is shredded beef product branded Ratu. The expiry date is also not printed on the product.

"In this inspection, there is integrated team from KUMKMP, Health, Industry Departments, Satpol PP and Jakarta BPOM, it's conducted simultaneously in five areas," Sinaga added.
